Monoprints
FESTIVAL OF ARTS. 27th, 28th, 29th December; I will be exhibiting, along with many other artists at the Festival of Arts, Pyramids Centre, Southsea. Come and see this new and exciting art Fayre over the Christmas period from 10am till 6pm.
Monoprinting is widely recognised as the most painterely form of printmaking, although prints can be similar no two prints are the same, each print is a 'one off.' The print making inks used create a quality of light very different to other mediums, for me the appeal lies in its unpredictable nature and the combination of printmaking, painting and drawing.
