Monoprinting process
Most of my work involves Monoprinting. A Monoprint is a printmaking technique where by a plate is inked up, then printed by hand or through a printing press on to paper creating a one off-print, No two prints are the same. I use a plexi-glass plate to roll ink onto the surface then after the print has dried I add detail usually with Watercolours and my trusty Rotring drawing pen.
